Rooms and Amenities

You can choose from indoor games like chess, caroms or outdoor activities like shuttle, football or even a 20 over game of cricket. Party games are organized on bonfire nights. (Billiards, table tennis and gym will be available shortly ).

Sightseeing and Trekking

Though small ( total area is about 30 sq. km.), this delightful place offers endless pleasures for vacationers.

Yelagiri is surrounded by hills. Swamimalai , the highest (4,338 ft ) is the ideal trekking route for the adventurous.

Get your holiday off to a memorable start at sunrise. Pack some snacks/lunch, water and head off to Swamimalai. Savour the fresh air as you unwind with a leisurely stroll down the road through Mangalam village, where the peaceful pastures and lotus pond will enchant you. One is at a loss for words to describe the magnificent view atop Swamimalai.

On your return, step into the sericulture farm, run by the government.

Punganoor Lake is yet another spot worth visiting. There is the boat ride you can take on the artificial lake, play in the park or admire the garden. From there make a dash to Murugan temple which is less than half a kilometer away.

Jalagamparai Waterfalls is undoubtedly 'the' spot for a picnic. The whole family / group will have a blast. Of course you need to check if there is enough water since the falls depend largely on Yelagiri's rainfall.

Regardless of what you do, the beauty of Yelagiri will linger in your heart forever.

At night fall, relax on the lawn as you watch a movie and dine under the stars. And when you tumble into bed , you'll wish the day held another 24 hours so you could spend twice as much time in this paradise.

A Tribal dance or live band can be arranged for package groups on request.

Yelagiri is so compact; you can see it all in a day or two. But why rush ? The pace of life here is so peaceful that you'll be better off taking it in slowly and savouring every moment.

Cell phone services are not available on the hill. You can make use of the STD/ISD facility available at the hotel.

Fill your tank before climbing the hill as there are no gas stations up here.

There is no bar at the hotel and no liquor shops in Yelagiri. Make sure you bring your own stuff.

This homely haven offers 3 Royal Suites, 3 deluxe rooms and 24 standard rooms. Each room is well furnished with colour television (all cable networks available)Geyser, mosquito mesh, dressing table and intercom system with local/STD facility. Do not panic, nature provides the air conditioning.

Each suite consists of a sitting room cum dining area with refrigerator and bedroom. The spacious rooms are large enough to accommodate a family of four or five.
The Deluxe rooms are single unit rooms yet large enough to offer a sitting area and a refrigerator.

The standard rooms are designed for comfort and each one comes with a balcony.

Power failure poses no problem at 'Hills' as our 75 KV generator is always on standby.

Retaurant Details

The multi-cuisine 'Diana Restaurant' offers an elaborate menu. And if your favourite dish is missing on the menu, check with our chef who is ever willing to oblige the guest.

Buffets are arranged for groups of 10 and above. In the evening when the bonfire is in full blaze and you are swaying to the music, we serve dinner on the lawn so you can enjoy every moment. Package groups can also make use of the barbeque on request.

And for all you Jains, Hotel Hills has a Jain kitchen specially maintained for you. Check with the management and make use of this facility
