Hotel Nigress, is very close to National Park and Punganoor Lake. Perfect for walking, bird watching, hiking, cycling, nature watching, sightseeing or just relaxing in the friendly and comfortable welcoming environment. etc... One can take a short walk along the lake side and also enjoy a boat ride. The park located near the lake is an ideal place for taking your kids.

Hotel Nigress at Yelagiri is a place were couples and families would prefer to spend peaceful time, Hotel Nigress is located near to Swami malai hills, which are the hills in the form of cake with a strong base at the bottom and high peak of the hills just tend to touch the sky. Trekking is an attraction at Swami Malai (3 Km to and 3 km fro). This trek leads one to a small peak from where the entire valley is visible.

Our Resort is a place were couples, families, friends, groups would prefer to spend peaceful time. We have Multi-Cuisine restaurant attached with all kinds of dishes... We have out door games like badminton, shuttlecock and a lawn to play cricket. Our resort has totally 25 rooms available. All the cottages and rooms are clean and well maintained, with basic facilities like hot water, television etc.,

We have multicuisine restaurant attached to cottage and we provide all kinds of dishes, ranging South Indian Dish, North Indian dish and Chinese food Varities. We provide Hygienic food for our customers.

Location

Yelagiri Hill is 3-4 hours drive from Chennai or Bangalore and is at a height of 920m above sea level. It is one of the quieter hill destinations of Tamil Nadu and is surrounded by orchards, gardens and green valleys. Fourteen hairpin bends and about half hour of driving uphill, you are in Athanur town. Hotel Nigress is on the right side beginning of the yellagiri Hill, You just can't miss it.

By Air
The nearest airport Bangalore airport, which is about 180 km from Yelagiri. The airport at Chennai is 260 km away.

By Rail
The closest railway station to Yelagiri is Jolarpet. This station is connected to both Chennai and Bangalore. Cabs and buses are available at Jolarpet to Yelagiri.

By Bus
Yelagiri can be reached through the NH-46 and SH highways. Driving down to Yelagiri from Chennai or Bangalore is fairly easy and should not take more than five hours on an average.
